Your data
Your records are yours. You can download a complete copy at any time, and you can close your account when you’re done.
Back up a copy of your records
Section titled “Back up a copy of your records”From the account menu (your initials at the top right), choose Profile; under Backup & your data, you can back up a copy of your records — patients, births, babies, visits and procedures.
The Backup & your data section appears for Admins and Providers — the roles that manage records. Viewers and Scribes don’t see it. What the backup covers depends on your role:
- Admins back up the whole practice, and can narrow it to a single Attending provider (or leave it on All providers).
- Providers back up the records they attended. There’s no provider picker — a Provider’s backup is always their own attended records.
Choose the format that suits you:
- Prepare spreadsheet backup — a set of spreadsheets (one per record type) you can open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets.
- Prepare JSON export — the complete, full-fidelity copy of your data.
You can narrow an export with:
- Births from / Births to — a birth-date range. Leave both blank to include every birth.
- Records — which patients travel with the backup:
- Pregnant patients — patients with no birth on record yet (your current caseload).
- Births — only patients with at least one birth in the backup’s scope.
- All — every patient (the default).
Preparing an export runs in the background. When it’s ready, a Download link appears for that export so you can save the file.
Delete your account
Section titled “Delete your account”The Delete my account section at the bottom of Profile (in the account menu — your initials at the top right) deletes your login. Practice records you attended stay with the practice — deleting your account doesn’t remove patients, births or other records from the practice’s roster.
You’ll be asked for your password to confirm. Deleting your login is permanent, so back up anything you want to keep first.
